Manufactured from 7oz P.U. Polyester, Rainbow Shelters have a multitude
of uses. Simple to erect and covering an area of 400 sq ft. (20ft
X 20ft), they are far more affordable than a small marquee, and
much, much safer than a large garden umbrella.
Available in any colour (including corporate colours), they can
be erected for a single event, or simply put up at the beginning
of Spring and taken down at the end of Autumn, or even weekend events
in the Winter.
Ideal for Garden Parties, Gymkhanas, School Sports Days, Festivals,
Market Stalls, Garage Forecourts, County Shows and special events
such as Weddings and Fiestas.
Available with or without sides, they can be linked together, making
them ideal for outdoor exhibitions or weatherproof event queuing
systems, and come complete with an integral flag of your choice
and indoor plug-in light, which together act as the central fabric
securing point.
Why struggle with a complicated tent, risk the dangers of an umbrella
blowing away, or pay the costs of hiring a marquee, when you could
simply buy a Rainbow Shelter.
Rainbow Shelters are essentially a Tensile Fabric Structure. Four
corner brackets anchored extremely securely to the ground support
a perfectly tensioned High-Tech PVCu tube with a centre cross-joiner.
The pre-shaped P.U.Polyester fabric is then tensioned over the tubes
and anchored by a very simple method to the corner brackets, forming
a shelter that is very strong and secure, even in poor weather conditions.
Tested in the UK to wind speeds up to Force 8 (although these conditions
are not highly recommended for outdoor parties!).
As with any structure, the strength and safety lies within the design,
foundation and securing of the anchor points. If being erected on
a flat grass surface, Rainbow Shelters can be delivered to you with
full setting out instructions for DIY erection. If you are worried
about underground water pipes or electricity cables at the anchor
points, bearing in mind that the ground spikes are one meter long,
we recommend the use of a C.A.T. Detector prior to purchase. If
being erected on any other surface, we recommend that you make full
use of Rainbow Shelters' survey and erection services. We have the
experience and expertise to cope with most situations.
Colours:- White is available off
the shelf at a standard price. Yellow, red, green, blue and black
are available as a special order, but fairly quickly, although prices
may very according to quantity required. All other colours, including
corporate colours, are available as a special order and special
price only.
